I’m a proud Cairns local of 57 years. After completing Year 12, I began an apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician. At just 18, during my second year of the four-year apprenticeship, I purchased the company I was working for. Over the next 18 years I successfully operated that business, though I always maintained a strong interest in property, construction, and sales.

In 2003, that interest led me into the real estate industry when I joined The Hedley Group, a major FNQ property developer at the time. During my years there, I sold numerous apartment complexes throughout Cairns, the Northern Beaches, and as far north as Port Douglas. I also sold a wide range of house-and-land packages across several of Hedley’s residential estates.

In 2009, I accepted a role as Senior Salesperson with RE/MAX, where my background in development sales was utilised once again. I successfully marketed and sold multiple projects for The Benchmark Group, while also achieving strong private sales across City, Edge Hill, Freshwater, and a large volume of house sales in Redlynch, Kanimbla, Brinsmead, and Northern Beaches.

During my time with RE/MAX, I consistently ranked in the Top 20 of the RE/MAX Australia High Achievers Club, and on several occasions placed in the Top 5 nationally.

In January 2015, I joined @realty, where I’ve enjoyed the freedom to tailor marketing strategies specifically to my clients’ needs. This personalised approach has delivered excellent results for both my clients and myself.

After 23 years of helping clients and friends achieve their real estate goals, I have now launched HAMILTON Realty Cairns. Drawing on my experience across multiple leading agencies and developers, I’m able to offer a diverse range of marketing strategies to suit every style of property and every type of seller.

For the past 20 years, I’ve lived in Redlynch with my wife and our two teenage children. On weekends, when I’m not at open homes, you’ll usually find me supporting my kids’ music and theatre pursuits - or cheering on my old football club, Brothers Cairns.
